The Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounter CMEX5 is a professional non-destructive digital moisture meter designed for measuring moisture content and relative humidity in concrete floors, slabs, screeds, wood and other building materials. As the updated version of the trusted CMEX2, the CMEX5 delivers instant, precise and reproducible results, making it an essential tool for concrete coatings, wood flooring and water damage restoration professionals.

Using Gravimetric testing as a baseline, the CMEX5 provides quantitative moisture content readings to a depth of approximately 20mm (¾") into the slab. It also offers Carbide Method equivalent readings for concrete and anhydrite/gypsum screeds, along with reference scales suitable for ASTM F2659 testing. With a built-in hygrometer and optional external pin and RH probes, the CMEX5 expands beyond concrete testing to measure ambient conditions, wood moisture content and in-situ relative humidity in accordance with ASTM F2170 and BS standards.

Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App enables visualisation of readings, geotagging of results and the creation of moisture maps, reports and charts for seamless documentation and sharing.
